Growing and Using Herbs

Lisa Dean and Rebekah Benson from the University of Illinois' Madison County Extension office will be presenting the best ways to grow and use herbs in your own backyard.

Herbs have been part of our lives for many centuries. Often used for flavoring all kinds of food items, they also have a place in our home decorating; medicine cabinet; and as Nature's organic repellents. This is an interactive presentation encouraging audience participation.
