Event Details

Safe Zone is a free training program to help educate and empower allies of the LGBTQIA+ community. In this two-hour training you will discuss affirming vocabulary for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as the differences between sexuality, gender and attraction. This is a safe space to ask questions and discuss ways that you can be a more effective ally in your life and workplace. 

This training is provided by Lisa Allen, educator and PFLAG Edwardsville President, and Pastor David Roderick, pastor of Immanuel United Methodist Church (a reconciling ministry) in Edwardsville.
