About 1 in 10 people will have a seizure sometime in their life. You can help by learning how to recognize the different types of seizures and how to help someone who is having a seizure. 
Training is grant funded & all attendees will leave with a certification valid for 2 years. 

If you work in a school, preschool or daycare in Illinois, it is important to know that the "Seizure Smart School Act" went into effect July 1, 2020. According to this law, some Seizure First Aid training is required for all school employees. 

This program is presented by the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Southern Illinois.
