How can any writer become a published author without giving up control and profits? Find out the answers as you learn about The Self-Publishing Revolution with Andrew Doty! This educational workshop will cover the long history of self-publishing and the innovations along the way that have made self-publishing more and more accessible over time, culminating at today’s easier-than-ever tools for authors. And once you’re caught up on the historical context, Andrew will discuss the steps required to self-publish a professional-quality book and answer every author’s biggest questions.

Andrew Doty is a book coach, editor, creative director, and publishing consultant who began publishing at the age of 16 before earning a degree in creative writing from SIUE. He has served as the president of the St. Louis Publishers Association, editor-in-chief of punctum books, editorial director of Something or Other Publishing, and editor of MO Humanities, the biannual magazine from Missouri Humanities — as well as a barista at 222 Artisan Bakery!
